Texas Sporting Breed Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We do not receive government funding and therefore rely heavily on our adoption fees and fundraising efforts. Our fees are directly linked to our costs to care for dogs in our program.
Our average costs to rescue and care for a dog:
Spay/Neuter = $135
Vaccines = $55 - $75 (dogs under 18 months may receive multiple sets)
Heartworm Test = $20
Dewormer = $20 - $35
Exam = $35 - $55
Ear treatment = $35
Heartworm Prevention = $10/month
Flea Prevention = $10/month
Heartworm treatment = $450
This does not include additional vetting services that may be necessary (heartworm treatment, illness, surgery, emergency, etc.).
