Hi Friends!

My name is Canyon but my foster parents call me “Can” for short. For being a puppy, I’m a laid-back kind of guy. My favorite thing to do is lay next to my foster mom and dad while they watch TV and get my belly rubbed. However, I am still a puppy, so I also enjoy my toys and playing fetch. I’m really starting to get the hang off this fetch thing. You see my foster mom throws the ball, I run, get it, run around the yard a little bit THEN if I bring it back to her, she throws it again!  Can you believe that? I love that part of the game.

I still have things to learn and I want to learn as much as I can.  House training is going well, I’m not perfect yet. I know how to ‘sit’ and working on this “stay” thing. I do not like that crate, but I have to sleep it. I voice my opinion when I’m first made to go in, but it doesn’t seem to help. After a few minutes, I figure it’s a waste of time to bark about it, so I stop and start playing with my toys or take nap. 

I live with my foster parents, 3 other dogs and 2 cats. I love those cats but for some reason they don’t feel the same way about me. When I try to p lay with them, they hiss at me! Can you believe that? Look at my picture; I am a very lovable looking guy.
