UPDATE on Bio 10/19/12 Nutmeg is a total sweetheart! She loves kids and is very gentle with them. She thinks she is a lap dog and tries to sneak her way up into our laps whenever she can. She LOVES to play fetch and would do it for hours on end! She is completely house trained, crate-trained, and knows SIT, SIT PRETTY, GIVE ME YOUR PAW, SPIN (almost), STAY, WAIT, DROP IT, COME, and GO IN YOUR HOUSE. She gets along great with other dogs. She loves to go for walks/runs with my husband. She rides great in the car and loves to go places with us. She is happy and content to just be where ever we are. She will make an excellent addition to any family. Oh, and did I mention she LOVES to give kisses :) She'd lick your skin off if she could!
Nutmeg arrived last night and is settling in nicely. She is a very sweet-natured dog, very patient and calm and has a quiet confidence about her. She is definitely catching up on her beauty sleep as I image shelter life was a bit exhausting for this little girl. She got her first bath today and loved it! She got a good scrub down, rinse and loved being rubbed dry with a towel. Her coat is shiny and soft now and smells like oatmeal and honey :) She has had no accidents inside and promptly takes care of business when we go outside. She seems to enjoy her crate and slept quietly all night. She loves kids and is very gentle with my one year old. She loves to eat, like most labs, and already knows sit and stay. She has great house manners and is just an overall great dog.
